***The First Annual Tetris Tournament Sign up/Rules!***
Hello everyone and welcome to the GWG First ever Annual Tetris Tournament Be a part of GWG History!!
After all this boringness and flames in the forums, it is time to take a new turn at fun! And we will also want to find out who's the best!!! At gaming of course. Lets get this started... Well, this is what it is about. Tetris. Tournament. It will be a randomly chosen bracketed elimination tournament. Get it? 1. You win- You advance to the next round to your next opponent. 2. You lose- You are out of the tournament. Better luck next time.(Yes there will be a next time.) Note: All games will be held in the arcade by challenge mode. Arcade link- http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/arcade.php? Tournament will start Friday, September 23 2005. 6:00 Eastern time. Phases of the tournament... 1. Sign up Here!!! 2. Pm notification of first challenges. a. Of the participants, half of them will recieve a PM. b. The PM will tell who to challenge... Then you challenge them. If you don't recieve a Pm, you will be challenged soon by another participant who recieved a PM from ME!!! NO one else will give you a PM. 3. Challenging/game rules.. a. All challenges must be made in the arcade b. Challenge by clicking on this person who is to be challenged avatar, then selecting the first option(Challenge to Arcade Match) c. Select Tetris as the game. d. Challenged person will go first...Then the challenger e. All records of games will be posted in the 'challenges' link in the arcade f. The winner will be decided there. 4. Interview period.(Maybe...) a. A fun and quirky time to find out about the participants and why they do what they do!!! b. Questions will be given via PM. Reply the answers back to me!!! c. Any requested questions should be given to me NOW!!! 5. Bracket Shown on Tournament Thread!!! a. Current standings will be shown!!! 6. Repeat Phases 2-5 until Champion is determined. a. Hope we make it to this phase 7. Ending ceremony... a. Rewards are given. b. Closing speeches. c. Title of Tetris... d. ITS DONE!!! It is the sign up period now. Rewards 1. Bragging rights!!!! 2. Best Competitive Tetris Title, FAME!!! 3. Greater self esteem.(Can't guaruntee you this) 4. Fortune!!! 5.
